Terms and Conditions
By submitting a booking form, you agree to accept the terms as laid out below.

1. Bookings​​​​
​
​1.1. Submission of a booking form does not guarantee confirmation of appointment. All appointments are subject to availability and acceptance of a booking is at the discretion of Duley Dog-Sitting.
1.2. All bookings will be responded to within 2 working days of the submission, and bookings will be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis.
1.3. Upon confirmation of your appointment you will be asked to pay a deposit of 25% of your total booking fee. This payment will be deducted from your final balance.
1.4. Payment is to be made by bank transfer or cash, as per your agreement at the time of booking.
1.5. Duley Dog-Sitting reserves the right to adjust prices as deemed necessary, however bookings made before price increases will remain at the agreed price.

2. Cancellations
​
2.1. Cancellations are free for up to 48 hours before the start of your booking, and you will receive your deposit back in full.
2.2 Cancellations within 48 hours of your booking start time will result in loss of your deposit. This is to cover the loss of earnings from a late cancellation that cannot be rebooked.

3. Insurance
​
3.1. Duley Dog-Sitting has pet and home-sitting insurance as provided by Pet Business Insurance, however Duley Dog-Sitting cannot accept liability for third-party damage to your home or pets.
3.1.1. If your pet or home becomes damaged in conditions out of the control of Duley Dog-Sitting, the employees of Duley Dog-Sitting cannot be held responsible.
3.2. Duley Dog-Sitting has been DBS checked, a copy of this certificate can be provided upon request using the Contact Us page.
3.3. Duley Dog Sitting's insurance does not cover pre-existing medical conditions, as such it is your duty as the owner to ensure you have the relevant health insurance for your pets and divulge any medical requirements and special needs to Duley Dog-Sitting.

4. Photography
​
4.1. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree for photos and videos taken of your pets during the booking to be used on Duley Dog-Sitting's website and social media. Duley Dog-Sitting will take care to not include personal or private information in the photographs. Please inform Duley Dog-Sitting during the booking process if you wish for your pet(s) photos not to be used.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1. The customer is responsible for ensuring that there is an appropriate amount of food, including any treats or supplements, available to cover their pet(s) meal requirements for the entire duration of the booking.
5.2. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all their pet(s) have suitable harnesses or leads, as well as waste-bags, for any bookings that require walking.
5.3. The customer is responsible for fully informing Duley Dog-Sitting of any medical or health concerns or conditions relevant to the pet(s) being cared for. It is also the customer's responsibility to inform Duley Dog-Sitting of any medication requirements, as well as provide contact information for their vet in case of emergency.

6. Guarantees
​
6.1. Duley Dog-Sitting guarantees that for the duration of a walking booking, the pet(s) in the care of Duley Dog-Sitting will be under observation at all times, as such they will not be left alone, or with another individual. The pet(s) will always be kept on a lead unless otherwise discussed.
6.2. Duley Dog-Sitting guarantees that for the duration of a home visit booking, the pet(s) will be under the constant care of Duley Dog-Sitting, both in the home and on walks.
6.3. Duley Dog-Sitting guarantees that for the duration of a overnight visit session (24 hours) the pet(s) under the supervision of Duley Dog-Sitting will not be left alone for a duration exceeding 4 hours at a time.
