You’re going away, but you don’t need someone staying overnight with the pets? Day visits could be the option for you. ​

With this service, I offer a free meeting, at your home where possible, for you to have a chance to get to know me better and give the pets an opportunity to meet me and get used to me before my services begin. This is also a good opportunity to introduce me to their routine, and gives me the security of knowing what I’m going into!

How does it work? 

My day visit services are available as two 4-hour daily slots, 8am - 12pm and 2pm - 6pm. You can choose to book either one or two slots per day based on how much care your animals require, and these slots can be booked up to two weeks concurrently, with additional booking fees applying for bookings exceeding two weeks in total length. 

I will arrive at your home 5 minutes before the beginning of your slot. Their routine will be resumed immediately, I am confident walking your pets (please inform me if they have a preferred route!), and sticking to their feeding routines. It is advised to book one daily slot if your animal is a grazing eater, has access to the outdoors or does not need much contact time, or if you are away for a short period. If you’re planning for a longer trip away, two daily slots will allow your animals plenty of contact time, mealtime supervision, bedtime preparations and may be more suited to animals without outdoor access for toileting. Please inform me if you require additional services, such as bathing or administering of medications. Day visits offers the comfort of knowing your pets have companionship and receive their normal care routine while you travel, and can be more flexible and hands-off than overnight sitting while still allowing plenty of contact time.
